Alison and David’s April wedding was perfect picture! The weather was amazing (always a good thing for an outdoor ceremony), Party Reflections built an unbelievable tent that overlooked Lake Norman. The install started a week before the wedding with the floor of the tent being built. The client’s house is still under construction but with the view of their property, you would never know!

Heather Bryson with The Look and Samantha Smith with Potion made sure all the ladies looked lovely!

Gail Buff with Cheesecakes Etc. made the cake- of course it was the tuxedo style- vanilla and chocolate to go with the color scheme!
John Lupton with Elements Design Group…(p.s I *heart* him)…made the oh so fabulous pink arrangements!

The great guys from Party Reflections were basically swimming in the mud to get this tent up (they had to begin before the sod was put down!) but thanks to Rebecca, Dan, Lenny, “lil dan” (Dan’s son spent his Spring Break setting up the tent!) everything was smooth sailing.
The design concept came to me one day while meeting with the bride’s mother over a cup of coffee at my $4/day spot - Starbucks - I drew it on a napkin and we were all set. The one and only Jay Johnstone sewed the curtains aka Pole Drapes and helped me hang them all. We kept our sense of humor after 2 days of hanging on a ladder under a clear top…it was like a free session at the tanning bed for 16 hours.

The very talented Christopher Record snapped away on his camera all night long! I love this one this one he captured of these two lovely ladies!
The Hip Cats gave the guests some jazz music for the ceremony and cocktail hour and The Doug Burns Band entertained everyone with their tunes.
We can’t forget about THE FOOD. O.M.G…amazing…huge shout out to Melodie McAbee with ONE Catering with Harpers Restaurant Group! I’m dreaming about the salmon…and stuffed hushpuppies…. I kept sneaking to the chef for just one more shrimp and crawfish hushpuppy.
But wait there is more! Peak Limousine gave us the wheels for transporting the guests, Brad with The Carolina Photobooth made sure I had a guest book at the end of the evening with everyone’s photo strips. Oh yeah - remember me mentioning earlier it was still a construction site? Well, Royal Restrooms delivered the nicest restroom trailer! I am a bathroom snob and this was like the real thing, baby!
I can’t thank my team of vendors enough for all their hard work….especially my gals (and guys!)…Jenna (my right hand gal for EVERYthing-), Ava, Courtney, Scott and Dave who set off the fireworks and ended the night with a big Bang!
Enjoy the pics!!!
