“Not Your Momma’s Event!”

One of the signatures of Ivy’s style is expressing the personality of each bride, host or hostess through even the smallest details of the event. And one of her biggest personal goals with each event is to make sure she is doing things differently than anyone (even her) has done them before.  After all, this is your party (and you’ll sing with the band if you want to), not anyone else’s! 

She is SO passionate about personalizing each event and putting her own twist on tried-and true planning ideas that she’s even gone on the road to speak to other industry professionals about how to make sure that their next event is ”Not Your Momma’s Event!”.

First she trekked up to the Research Triangle in NC to speak at the regional meeting of the National Association of Catering Executives. (Yes! The way you serve an appetizer can be truly unique and reflect a personality. See photos for proof.) Then she migrated south to Fort Myers Florida to address theNational Association of Wedding Professionals.
