Mag Love: Southern Weddings

Southern Weddings cover

First of all, apologies for I.V.Y. being M.I.A. on the blog. As I am sure you can guess, fall is a busy time for weddings and as much as Ivy and the IRW&E loves blogging and twittering, our brides and grooms come first!

Even though Ivy’s been dashing all over the place putting finishing touches on an upcoming Maui wedding and just returned from a FAM trip (more details to come!) in Costa Rica, she wanted to give a huge THANKS to Southern Weddings Magazine for letting her be a part of their cover story ” 60 Ways to Have a Southern Wedding” !

Down here where the weather is warm and the tea is sweet, weddings take on a whole new level of excitement, which is one of the reasons why Ivy Robinson Weddings & Events made it’s home in North Carolina!

We are so excited that Southern Weddings has gotten its first, beautiful issue out on the shelves. Be sure to pick yourself up a copy (or three) and check out the expert tips (including Ivy’s) on how to throw yourself one fabulous Southern wedding!

David & Allison to be featured in The Knot!

We’ll have our eye on the news stands this December awaiting The Knot North Carolina! Why? Because it features David & Allison, who hired Ivy to help with their big day at Lake Norman on April 18!

Big thanks to The Look for letting us know this great news! We can’t wait to see the wedding in print!

Ivy’s Ideas: Red and Gray Soiree (on the cheap!)

Did you check out that link to Ivy’s appearance on WBTV Channel 3 in Charlotte?   Well you should.

Here’s a few close up pics of the table decor that Ivy presented during the segment.  Red and gray is a very sexy, sophisticated color pairing that works GREAT for fall weddings that want to avoid the typical fall colors.

Ivy’s Ideas: Party Decor on the Cheap - WBTV Charlotte

Did you catch Ivy this morning on WBTV Channel 3 in Charlotte?  Yeah, me either. It was 7:30 in the frickin’ morning! Luckily for me (and you), they’ve already posted Ivy’s great segment on the web!

Not only were her ideas for decorating your next party SO COMPLETELY CHEAP, they were also super stylish:  Red and Gray? Who knew! It looks fabulous. And now I am DYING to try one of those Cosmo Pops!  Save me one, Ivy!
